Now that it's starting to warm up and people will be out raking leaves and working in their flowerbeds, these little guys will often be encountered. Dekay's brown snakes (Storeria dekayi), are birthed live and are extremely tiny, often getting confused with worms at 1st. These snakes remain small their entire lives, rarely reaching more than 11-12" and are GREAT for your flowerbeds and gardens because they eat snails, slugs and other tiny plant pests. PLEASE don't kill them, you want these guys around.

Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, November 12th, 2021 from 4:00- 6:00 pm at Dean Funeral Home - 745 Highway 468 Brandon, MS 39042.

The Homegoing Service will be Saturday, November 13th, 2021 at 10am at Dean Funeral Home - 745 Highway 468 Brandon, MS 39042.

Directly thereafter, we gather at the Interment Cemetery: Greater New Truelight MB Church. 182 Church Road, Brandon Ms.

We ask for continued prayer for his family and friends.
