Wesson's Rescue Wesson's Rescue was started when I adopted my dog Wesson in 2011. My passion is helping animals when I am able. It is just me hands on helping the animals.

My name is Cassandra Parker and I run the Wesson's Rescue out of Brandon, MS. Right now my main goal is helping unchecked colonies of cats receive medical care, spay or neuter, and find new homes if possible. The number of cats in Mississippi who need homes, medical attention, and simple spay and neuter are in the hundreds of thousands. Please be nice to cats and do the best you can for them! Spay

and Neuter all of your pets but especially your cats that are hard to contain. They can become pregnant as early as 4 months old! Due to overpopulation in populated areas, community cats are treated unfairly because they are seen as a nuisance. Many of them die from disease and starvation due to unchecked populations. Jack, Mama Kitty, and Boy Cat

Mama Kitty and Boy Cat are ferals that I trapped, spayed and neutered, rabies vaccinated and returned to their neighborhoods afterward.

Jack was a very friendly roaming kitten in this neighborhood that a resident handed over to me when I was trapping the other 2. He is now vetted and pending adoption!

This neighborhood is overrun and I will try to help with a few more TNRs. Please contact me if you would be willing to sponsor a kitty. The fees are $33 each. ❤️
