Did you know hot pavement can burn your dog’s paw pads within seconds? During summertime walks, always do the 7-second test: if you can’t keep the back of your hand on the pavement for 7 seconds, it’s too hot for paws! Opt for early mornings, late evenings, grassy paths, or dog booties to keep your pup safe in the heat. Protect those pawprints on every adventure! Need more safety tips? Give us a call.
