Sassy took her last walk with Carti and I and is galloping in heaven across rainbow bridges. 🌈
She went very peacefully yesterday (June 5, 2026) and I was the last thing she saw as I held her head.
Carti sniffed the halter asked -am I next- and I told her no we have work to do, you still have purpose and we walked out of the woods together. Carti is out in the big pasture with the support of her barn mates and ready to serve. 💖🐴🫶
Thank you for all the love, stories, laughter and smiles shared for this amazing horse. Sassy changed so many lives with her serene patience and sass. She was a trooper and let me do all kinds of crazy shenanigans- most of which worked!
Sassy has proven that equine facilitated learning is such a vital method for special people with special needs. She will be loved eternally and missed on earth- she rides the stars now #💖🐴🫶🏼
