Several reminders:

1. We who admin this page are all volunteers, not Shelter employees. We are often at the Shelter, but we don't always have the most current info about animals that may or may not be at the Shelter. For this reason, you should phone the Shelter at 270-422-2064. You may leave a voice message if no answer.

2. The Animal Control Officers (ACO) are often called away from the Shelter. We suggest that you call 270-422-2064 and make an appointment before you go there.

3. In the event of an after hours emergency involving an animal, phone Meade County Dispatch at 270-422-4172. They can reach the on-duty ACO.
