Midway Veterinary Clinic will be closed on Friday, July 4, 2025 in observance of Independence Day. If your pets medications or preventions are needed, please be sure to get them filled in advance.
Here are a few great tips for you if your fur-baby isn't the biggest fan of the celebrations. Remembering these tips can help prevent many lost/missing pets!

Just a couple of new things if your fur baby is coming in for any surgical procedures! On our Surgery Consent, there will be two new options!

1.) Dremel. All dogs coming in for surgery get their nails trimmed free of charge to you, but now we can usually get them a bit shorter and smooth the edges with our Dremel tool if you choose to have it done.

2.) Silicone claw caps. Tired of your kitty scratching you, the furniture, or your walls/baseboards? Try the silicone claw caps! When your cat is under sedation for surgery, you can choose to have these soft caps applied to their front feet! This will not be permitted for barn cats/outdoor cats of any kind. Indoor cats only. The duration of these caps depends soley on your cat. Some cats keep them on longer than others.

The silicone claw caps are only being done during surgical procedures, these will not be offered for in-visit application at this time.

On Monday, May 26, 2025 Midway Veterinary Clinic will be closed in observance of Memorial Day. Please make sure any needed prescriptions are filled ahead of time and that you have your prevention if needed. Have a safe and happy holiday!

Tick season is upon us and in full swing! The Lyme vaccine is vital to insure your dog is protected from tick-borne illness. Ask us anytime about adding the Lyme vaccine to your dogs yearly vaccinations!

This Friday, April 18, 2025 our office will be closed in observance of Good Friday. Please make sure you have your prescriptions refilled if needed and your preventions picked up beforehand if you were planning on doing it on Friday.

You asked and we came through! Now available to sell, the Credelio Quattro tablet! Now flea, tick, and heartworm prevention all in one! Please keep in mind that just like our other chewable preventions, your pet must be up to date on their yearly wellness exam and heartworm test to be able to take the Quattro. Available in-clinic and our online pharmacy for shipment to your door!

ANNOUNCEMENT:

Effective March 10, 2025:

Midway Veterinary Clinic will be implementing new business hours. We are now a one Doctor practice and after alot of consideration we will being changing our hours. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause anyone, but this is a needed changed for Dr. Goff to be able to spend time with his family. Our new hours are as follows:

Monday-Friday: 8:00-5:00PM EST
Saturday-Sunday: CLOSED
