Today, Next Chapter Living stopped by the Kentucky Humane Society with a few goodies for the animals waiting for their next chapter. šŸ¾ā¤ļøWe learned a little more about the incredible work they doā€”and about the ongoing need for foster homes, volunteers, and people willing to help in whatever way they can.

A Quiet Weekend in Kentucky šŸŒ»

Sometimes the best weekends arenā€™t the busiest ones.

This weekend was filled with simple momentsā€¦ enjoying the sunflowers, spending a quiet afternoon at home, watching Mark and Luna catch a nap, and visiting an old friend who has meant a lot to me over the years.

Life has a way of reminding us to slow down and appreciate the peopleā€”and animalsā€”we love while we have the chance.

Tomorrow starts another week and another opportunity to help people begin their next chapter. But today, I was simply grateful for this one. ā¤ļø
