We’re trying to help a family rehome some cats before they move at the end of the month.

Here are two bonded cats that are absolutely adorable. Zahzoo is the all grey and Nala is the one with white. Both are fixed and declawed and are indoor only.

Buddy was found as a stray a few months ago and his finder is looking for a forever home for him now that he’s in better shape. This is what she shared with me:

This is Buddy. He is fixed and appears to be an older dog. He super sweet and loving. He loves laying on the couch and cuddles. His is good with cats and gets very excited around other dogs. He isnt aggressive at all, he just wants to be everyone’s best friend. He walks on a leash well but requires some extra encouragement to stay on task around other dogs. He likes the outdoors and looking for deer. He is house trained and knows how to sit. Hes not big on toys, he would prefer to go on a walk. He loves treats but would like to avoid the car. He will come with a leash, harness and collar, and whatever treats and food we have left.

Buddy appears to be 8 years old and he weighs about 30 pounds. If you’re interested in adopting Buddy please message us and we’ll connect you with Buddy’s foster.

Spencer is a great guy and he gets along with everyone and everything. If you’ve ever wanted a coonhound then Spencer is the guy for you.

Jethro and McGee both came from our shelter last year. Both are fully vetted and are great cats. They get along well with other cats and dogs. They are a great pair of guys that will make some family very happy.

JETHRO IS READY FOR HIS FOREVER HOME ! Jethro entered The Arrow Fund family back in December after being found emaciated with a severe upper respiratory infection and a painful eye infection. His eye ended up needing to be removed but he is now healed. Nothing he has been thru has slowed the spunky approximately one year old down and he is now on the hunt for the perfect home. He does have one request. There was a second kitten that entered the fosters home from the local shelter on the same day as Jethro by the name of McGee. His picture is in the comments. These two are best friends and the perfect home is one that is ready for two if possible. If not, we understand. please click on the link to add Jethro to your family.

The shelter is very low again on dog food. One of the many expenses of being over full. If you would like to help them out you can order off of their Amazon wish list or drop off at the shelter. They will use any brand but are trying to consistently use Purina to lessen gastric issues with the dogs.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Two more girls have found their forever home at Special Paws - A Small Dog Sanctuary. These two bonded sisters had their elderly owner pass away and Janet took them in to her wonderful rescue.

Lulu (black and white) and Sophie Mae. They just made themselves right at home.

The shelter is getting very low on dog food. If you want to help out they could use bags of Purina. You can drop off or order on Chewy or Amazon.

***Update - owner has been found***

Does anyone recognize this dog? Approximately 2 year old, 10 # female dog. Found this morning on the side of the road in McQuady. We assume she was hit by a car. She is currently here in the clinic. If you recognize her, please contact us ASAP.

Poppy, the pregnant girl from the shelter, just had seven beautiful puppies.

Meade County Animal Shelter- Kelly is a three year old spayed female Australian Shepherd mix that is available for adoption. A submissive girl that is good with children, dogs and other animals. Kelly would be great in a home where someone is home the majority of the time since she does have separation anxiety. Fully vetted, she weighs about 35 pounds.

Cats and kittens available at MCAS

Winter is recovered and has found his forever home.

Mallory, our momma cat that had her lower jaw ripped off, was facing euthanasia for her injuries. The Arrow Fund jumped in to help this beautiful girl and worked with the veterinarians and staff at Dogwood Veterinary Clinic to save her. After all the work and being with Mallory as she went through her stages of her recovery, they fell completely in love with this remarkable resilient girl. So they adopted her and she is now the official clinical cat in charge. And Mallory’s beautiful daughter Lydia has also been adopted into a wonderful, loving home. Great endings for all. Thank you Dogwood Veterinary Clinic for your wonderful work and giving Mallory your love. And a great big thank you to The Arrow Fund for once again giving one of our pets in a desperate situation a chance for a better life.
