If there is one horse who always shines bright, it's always Barnabas. He has spent the last 2 years spreading joy and serving in our ministry.

From the moment he arrived at Gabriel’s Home, Men, Women & Children have been drawn to his vibrant personality. Barnabas had a heart of gold and endless patience. To many, he was the first horse they ever touched, sparking a lifelong connection. He reveled in the attention, enjoying his mane and tail braided. Of course, he taught countless people young and old the art of horsemanship, navigating the obstacle course with ease (yes, he always added his own flair to the ramp).

Last night, while feeding dinner, Barnabas chose to rest instead of eating his grain, and we knew something was wrong. The Veterinary was immediately called, and though Barnabas passed away due to complications from Colic, his spirit will never fade.

This is the hardest part of what we do, but we find peace in the memories and the lives he touched. Barnabas' legacy will live on, inspiring generations to come, and his memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of meeting him.

We give God all the Glory even in these difficult times!
