6 week pics for the National Parks! This time we did not beat the sunset or the rain 😂 so you’ll have to excuse the indoor lighting!

There are a few puppies in here that we’re very excited about! And every single one of them is the happiest friendliest tail waggin-est babiest just like I knew they would be 🥰 Poppy has done it once again and Charlie made them extra special

We barely beat the sunset with these pics! 6 weeks in and the Groceries are looking grown!

Sometimes I swear I can catch glimpses of the beautiful dogs they will be 🥹💚

5 week pics for the National Parks! These kids had a total growth spurt this week and I would say they are finally truly caught up to their “cousins” who are two days older.

These guys are giving me war flashbacks to when we were trying to pick keeper(s) in the Wildflowers Litter so if you notice me pulling my hair out that’s why 😂 not that I should complain! I ✨think✨ we have it narrowed down to three? It’s so hard when your heart pulls you in one direction and your brain in another!

Temperament wise
Rainier is a demure little queen whose tail is always going but she’s just polite about everything playing, stacking, eating all of it.

Shenandoah is a sweetie girl also with a tail that never stops she’s still a foodie 😂 and honestly reminds me a lot of her aunt Birdie.

Sequia is the chillest girl in the world until one of her siblings pins her down then he nasty side comes out 👹 we love a girl who can stand up for herself! She’s definitely got that boss babe energy. She has won the award for best puppy on nail day 3 weeks in a row.

Teton is a lazy sleepy dude. Unbothered by literally anything and happy to chill the day away in a lap or on the bed. He very much reminds us of his Grandpa Nelson with those vibes!

Acadia is so sweet despite looking like a grumpster! She gets riled up during play time and loves to bark! Honestly she reminds me so much of her mama Pop I could keep her forever

Denali is kind of full of herself she loves to ride the wobble board and keep her siblings off of it😂 she also loves stacking practice I’ve never seen a puppy this age with so much natural poise maybe she’s a show dog 👀

If there’s a puppy that crawling into my lap is almost always Zion he is a lovely cuddle boy again with a tail that never stops I don’t think he’s ever done anything wrong ever and just lives for kisses.

Hopefully this next week clears some choices up for us! Keep your fingers crossed for me and my gray hairs or should I call them blue? lol

The Groceries turned 5 weeks old today and we have officially entered the bitey phase!

The reds are sweet lover boys who love to cuddle. Kroger still loves to sing about his displeasures Albertson is more of a handle it on his own kind of guy but he’s always the first to get up and say hi when someone enters the room!

The girls are a little more active! Aldi is an independent little soul and likes to go off adventuring on her own. Winco is the silliest girl always rolling and jumping around making her own entertainment. And Sprouts is a crazy girl! She likes to bite on her siblings and us and bark at everyone 😂 but she is truly so much fun to watch.

4 weeks pics with the National Parks kiddos!

These guys really came out of their shells this week overall they have been consistently much smaller than the Groceries litter despite being only two days younger… this week we saw them start to play a little catch up in the bulk department 😂 don’t they look extra squishy?!

This week they’ve enjoyed combined housing in the playpen, they LOVE the balance board I might have to get them another one, and today they got to go outside for the first time! We had fun sniffing the dirt and playing with the rest of the pack 😊

I think this litter is showing a lot of promise. Im especially liking how solid on their feet most of these puppies are. Both Poppy and Charlie consistently set themselves up in a nice foursquare stance naturally and I think we are seeing some of that same balance in a few of these puppers.

Can’t believe we’re passed the halfway point already!

Four week pics of the Groceries! And their first official stacks since they were a little too chunky last week 😂

These guys have gotten so FUNNY this week they crack us up daily either beefing with each other, getting baby zoomies, or learning to use their beagle voices!

Their personalities are holding pretty true from last week but everyone has gained so much more confidence!

I knew this litter would have some variety since we paired and outcrossed girl to an outcrossed boy but it’s actually very cool to see each puppy and recognize which part of the pedigree they are pulling their “look” from.
Winco reminds me so much of her grandma Demi 🥹
Albertson seems to really be taking after his dad Parker
Sprouts reminds me the most of baby Phil
Kroger looks like his grandpa Peppe in a lot of ways.
Aldi is the one I’m not 100% sure on yet she might be more of a blend!

Thus far in our limited experience it seems when you do an outcross you get puppies that look like dads side and puppies that look like moms side and if you’re lucky you get one or maybe two that managed to blend a bit more but the majority seem to pick one side or the other! The blended one may not always be the best though depending on what your goals for traits to keep and traits to acquire were!

Anyway here’s to the half way point!
