A set of antique saddle pockets. Hand stitched and laced these are carved and stamped with a simple scroll pattern with a few small flowers. 29.5" long the pockets themselves measure 7" x 6.5" . No makers mark they show obvious age but with some repair could actually be used again or simply hang them up as a reminder of times past.

A nice set of saddle pockets carved with California roses. A well made set of saddle pockets in nice usable condition. The flap features California rose carving. Interior pockets and generous size make these nice for day to day work. The length when stretched out flat is 34" the size of the pockets is 10" x 8.5" x 2.5"

A nice set of vintage saddle pockets. This is an excellent and sensible pattern for carrying the basics. Fully basket stamped and nicely made these do not carry a makers mark. And while they are far from new they are still very serviceable. Stretched out flat they are 32" long. The actual size of each pocket is 7.5" x 7.5" without the flap.

Next up is a terrific print by Paul Sollosy. Titled "Horse Roundup" this print is signed, numbered 43/100 and dated 2000 by Paul Sollosy. It also features an original pencil remark on the matte by Paul. The image size is 16.5" x 9.5". It is nicely framed. Frame size is 25 3/8" x 18 1/4".

A small collection of California Vaquero related artwork has become available. First up is an original pencil by the late Paul Sollosy. Paul has always been one of our favorite artists who was able to accurately depict the California Vaquero and Buckaroo in action. This is a wonderful piece showing lots of action and personality. Titled "The New Crop" the image measures 10" x 7". Signed and dated 2002, this piece is nicely matted & framed & measures 15.5" x 13".

These belt blanks from the Deerlodge Prison have been stashed away for years waiting to get around to finishing them. Its time for somebody else to take over. These are nice pieces that anybody would be proud to wear. the darker one measures 22" x 1 3/8". The lighter colored one measures 33 x 1 1/8"

I bought this quirt from Chuck around 30 years ago, the c**t riding days are over so now its time to let it go. This is a good example of a Central Coast quirt from one of the last of our old makers. Chuck is 94 now and if he doesn't learn to be careful he might not make it to 100. But he just survived running himself over with a tractor!
