A great loss happened yesterday. Wild River would like to extend our condolences to Sully’s family as they cope with his sudden departure. We loved having Sully back in 2022 for his board/train. He was just such a good boy and was so easy to train. He was his owners absolute bestfriend. Rest easy sweet boy 🌈

The importance of researching kennels that have reputable health testing records. Both our personal dogs, Arrow and Hank, have their CHIC certifications. What is CHIC?
The OFA created the Canine Health Information Center (CHIC) by partnering with participating parent clubs to research and maintain information on the health issues prevalent in specific breeds. We’ve established a recommended protocol for breed-specific health screenings. Dogs tested in accordance with that protocol are recognized with a CHIC number and certification.

Our goal is to create the optimal field and family dog. We strive for the "off" switch and "drive" in the field. Hank currently has puppies on the ground with Meadow Pond Retrievers and Arrow is currently expecting with Hachi puppies (Stay tuned for the flyer)!
