Let’s talk Puppy coats!!! Puppy hair is that super soft, fluffy “baby coat” your dog is born with, and it usually starts changing into their adult coat around 5–12 months. During this awkward teenage phase, grooming can look a little uneven or extra fuzzy because two different coats are growing in at the same time and they don’t always play nice together. So if your pup leaves the salon looking a little wild, or like they got a haircut and immediately questioned their life choices…,that’s totally normal. They’re not broken, just growing into their grown-up fluff 😊

This lil guy had a rough life.. he lived outside at an Applebees and ate leftover food and had never been groomed 🥺He was scared and on edge but we took it slow and little by little we gained some trust. He booked for another haircut in 6 weeks and with every groom we look forward to getting this guy to trust us more and more.
