Liver Spotted Dalmatians are uniquely beautiful and eye catchers wherever they go. They are highly respected in the show ring, and many livers become champions because of their beautiful spotting.
We have two dogs from Germany - Bolt and Charity - from one of the most renowned and respected Dalmatian breeders/show persons in the world. Michael Lehmann, with Christi Ormond Dalmatians and his wife, Karola, specializes in raising and showing liver Dalmatians. We are blessed to have two of their dogs.
Charity and Bolt are not only strikingly beautiful, but they also have the best personalities and temperaments. Our two breeding girls, Liberty and Grace, are daughters of Charity. Many incredible puppies - many sired by Bolt, both liver spotted, as well as black spotted, have gone to pet, show, and service dog homes. The testimonies rave about the smartest and loving family dogs that are wonderful with children and calm in the house. Many have said that they are the best dogs they have ever had.
A word about male Dalmatians. First of all, to put the marking thing to rest, our males are respectful of their surroundings and do not urinate in the home (once trained, of course). And even with that, the puppies are trained very quickly in their new homes because they are so smart and because of our training method - the misty method, where our puppies prefer going potty outside.
Males are especially loyal and attentive to their families. They are loving and fun to be around. They have huge personalities! The boys might be a little protectively cautious at first (but never aggressive) with newcomers. They quickly warm up to them as soon as they know they are welcomed by the family. They are quick to take their cue. In fact, our big boy Bolt just sat himself on a new puppy "dad's" lap and became his best friend within minutes.
Everyone has their preferences - a lot of spots or hardly any, outgoing or laid-back, liver or black spotted, male or female. We love seeing every one of our puppies going to just the right home - from "our loving home to theirs!"
We are so thankful and happy to present to you two very handsome liver spotted males who have not yet been claimed by their new families.
