Whiskers Rescue is home fostered based in Bradenton Fl, we don't have a shelter. We specialize in the rescue and placement of abused, unwanted and abandoned animals. Whiskers Rescue never discriminates on the basis of health, age or breed. By involving and educating the community, Whiskers Rescue works to raise awareness to the plight of homeless animals as well as realizing the benefits of adopting an animal in need. Our animals are examined, neutered, vaccinated, tested for FeLv/FIV, microchipped, and receive any and all medical treatment before they are placed in carefully screened homes. President

I’m reaching out because I desperately need help for my aunt’s cat, Tippy.
My aunt was recently moved into hospice care, and due to her dementia, she could no longer care for her animals. Tippy has lost the only home and person he’s ever known, and I am doing everything I can to help him, but I am overwhelmed and running out of options. I can continue caring for him temporarily, but I cannot keep him permanently. If anyone is willing to adopt him please reach out. 🙏🏼

Our newcomer Little isn’t settling well at all. We’re slowly working with her but she’s currently quite combative.😔💔
Still stressed, we have music playing, dripped some Jackson galaxy tinture on her tuna, water and feliaway plugged in. Sometimes we just sit with her.. 😢

Feel so bad for her as Little’s world has been turned upside down,
Not sure what she has seen & endured,
Please send calming vibes & prayers for Little.
