Whiskers Rescue is home fostered based in Bradenton Fl, we don't have a shelter. We specialize in the rescue and placement of abused, unwanted and abandoned animals. Whiskers Rescue never discriminates on the basis of health, age or breed. By involving and educating the community, Whiskers Rescue works to raise awareness to the plight of homeless animals as well as realizing the benefits of adopting an animal in need. Our animals are examined, neutered, vaccinated, tested for FeLv/FIV, microchipped, and receive any and all medical treatment before they are placed in carefully screened homes. President

Our beautiful, flame point Siamese babes are nappin with Uncle Nacho. 🥹
This morning they were whisked off to the Spay/Neuter train,
We’re sure everything will go well at Arc!

Altered, vaccinated, tested negative for fiv/felv, microchipped fully vetted.
Good with other cats, never met a dog and children 6 & up best.
Would like a resident kitty, so they are not alone or consider adopting a pair. 👍🏻

Tearfully we lost sweet Sabrina..
We tried, but the odds were stacked against us even before we rescued her & brother Salem. 🥲
We don’t take loses lightly,
They were lives filled with so much promise & love. But sometimes you just can’t save them all, yes this is rescue & it can be so very hard on the heart. 💔
People often say to me, “It must be easier as you lose so many more in rescue”,
“No it’s not.. it never will be.
It never gets any easier, it hurts every time & we cry.
They need us, even if it’s just to help them to go peacefully to heaven.
Run free, fly high Salem & Sabrina 🌈

We are still putting a plea out for donations! We lost sweet kitten Salem 💔and his sister is also not doing well. Please help us with monetary funds so we can save Sabrina’s life. These two sibling kittens were rescued just a bit ago, locked in an abandoned house, no air, (110 degrees) no food or water, we don’t know for how long. 😭It’s all taken a toll on their little systems.
They were in bad shape, but we want to save Sabrina and give her chance to live. 🙏

Such a horrible, heartbreaking week, we’re doing are best we can for her and don’t like to beg, 🙏
But we will as we don’t want to lose another precious, important life. 🥲The trips to the doctors and Emergency are needed, but it is so very costly & diminishing our funds.
Please if you can donate, no donation is too small, any amount will help to save Sabrina’s life.

We have been dealing with some high medical cases this week and the bills are running high. It seems we just keep getting hit with vet visits and emergencies, funds are low.
This is hard..
Also we tried our very best, but just lost a sweet soul kitten, fly free Salem 🥲heartbreaking, but unfortunately there are still many bills to pay even when you have to say, “Goodbye” 😭

Now that Carter’s the last of the litter and his bro went home yesterday, it’s imperative we find him a home also! Preferably with a resident kitty. 🐱
Carter is lonely & crying, so it would be great if we could place him in a loving home soon.

Unique white coat, with the coolest tabby patches, very friendly, playful and loves to snuggle bigtime! Loves other cats, children, dogs unknown.
But he acts like a dog, wants to be near you. 🥰

Mama Summer & her two older kittens Salem & Sabrina hit the vet today, $381. All went well with Dr Kanzler & waiting on fecals. 🙏
