Animals are not meant to live their lives in cages; they are meant to live in comfort, on soft blankets, in safe homes with humans who treat them gently. What needs to be locked away is not the animal, but the cruelty that traps, beats, starves, or ignores them.​
Abuse is never “discipline,” and neglect is never an excuse or a culture – it is a decision, and animals have no words to expose it. They learn to flinch at raised hands, to hide from footsteps, to stop trusting altogether, and then they are blamed for being “bad dogs” or “unfriendly animals.” The real problem is not their behavior, but the harm that was done to them.​
True justice for animals means strong laws, serious penalties, and real enforcement against those who harm them. It also means more of us choosing to be the people who offer safety instead of fear: adopting, fostering, donating, sharing posts, and speaking up when we see suffering. Animals do not belong in cages – but people who abuse them should absolutely face the full weight of the law.​
