Miss Bella is still looking for her new furever home! Please send us a message if you’re interested! Bella is a 4.5 years old cattle dog. She will need someone who can patient with her as she does have a reactive past. She would thrive in a quiet home, she does get along either way other pups and will occasionally chase the cat. She’s a huge snuggler and is crate trained.

WOOF WOOF!!

My name is Bella and I am looking for a new furever home! I’m 4.5 years old Australian Cattle dog, I do need a lot of patience as my beginning to life wasn’t the best and have a history of being reactive in unknown situations.

Ideally I’d go to a home where I could be with someone active, have my crate as that’s my safe place for when I am overwhelmed/overstimulated. I’d be open to a home with older kids but haven’t really been around young ones, I take a little warm up with other dogs but love to chase them and starting to chew one bones and play with toys.

It is with heavy and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Dr. Thomas Jakob on Sunday February 23rd.

Arrangements are currently pending, and in lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to the Maya Jakob Foundation. More info to come on that.

We are in need of fosters for our dogs. Our main kennel is full. To make matters more urgent, we have more dogs arriving tomorrow.

Every dog in the shelter is feeling the stress of the current situation, and we’re reaching out to the community for help. If you can open your home to a foster dog, you would be giving these animals a much-needed break from the shelter environment.
