Happy 4th of July!

Keep your animals safe with these tips!
- Keep pets indoors.
- Provide a quiet safe space.
- Provide distractions (licki mats, kong toys, calming music).
- Go potty earlier in the evening before the fireworks begin.
- Give them the Stress Stopper formula.
- Make sure your pet's microchip information is up to date, and make sure they're wearing an ID tag on their collar with your info.
- Give them lots of love!
Remember, more pets get lost on July 4th than on any other day.

10 year old Golden beauty has started her swimming healing journey with us. Swimming therapy is so great for dogs with mobility difficulties like arthritis. Many aging dogs start being slow at getting up after laying down for a while or start having a hard time jumping onto the car, bed or couch etc. Swimming consistently really helps them with their range of motion, arthritic pain and helps build muscle.

This is Rocket, our new swimmer. He’s only 10 months old and he’s terrified of water because he fell in the pool at home so his mom brought him to Jessie’s Pool so we can teach him that the pool can be a safe and fun place. Many of the dogs we see have had accidents just like Rocket. They fall in the pool at home and the pool becomes something traumatic and scary. We love helping pups like Rocket heal their trauma so that they can enjoy the pool and get all the benefits of swimming.
