I sure do love these girls. Going to visit Chelsea the Golden today. I get to see her each week. Her sister, Charlotte the Newfie, crossed over last year. We sure do miss her, but sometimes I can feel her on the walk with us still. Most of the dogs I take care of are seniors, & even though they're not MY dogs, it's hard when I lose them. I love each & every one of them so much. It's a pleasure & a privilege to care for them in their golden years. To share that love is so special.

This cat is Reeses. She's 9 years old & has recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer. They've estimated that she has about 14 months left and they're trying very hard to get her out of the shelter and into a home where she'll be loved and spoiled for whatever time she has left. They're looking for a hospice Foster for her. She's in Connecticut.

Why won't they let Minnie go to sanctuary? The answer is quite simple. People keep hiring Commorford to provide elephant, camel & other animals for people to ride & abuse, so they're still making money off of her. Just like every other animal for hire act & "business" out there, they don't care about the animals at all. They only care about the money. Sickening.

It has been eight years since Cecil the lion was tortured and killed by an American trophy hunter. The beloved lion was lured from a protected reserve in Zimbabwe on July 1st, and shot with a bow and arrow by Walter Palmer. Wounded, terrified and suffering, Cecil escaped, but Palmer and his gang relentlessly tracked him, shooting him to death on July 2nd.
His death sparked global outrage, yet thousands of animals like Cecil continue to be killed by blood-thirsty hunters.

Message from Owner: Oliver has been with us since he was only a couple weeks old. Searching and trying to lead him with food has not worked.
