This deer season was a wild ride. I hate to see it come to an end, but I'm already looking forward to next season. I started the year off with a puppy and had no idea what kind of dog he might make. This season he got to find 50 deer. He blew every expectation I had out of the water. Thank you to everyone who gave us a chance to help you out, or recommended us to someone in need! Also want to thank everyone who gave us some easy tracks along the way, they really help to build a dog's confidence and help me learn to be a better handler.

Got a call about a possible miss. The hunter felt like he hit the deer but couldn't find any sign of a hit so he gave us a call. Took Gibby close to where we thought the deer was when he was shot. A couple minutes later Gibby had him bayed up about 150 yards away.

Easy one for Gibby tonight. Hunter just missed which direction it ran.

Found a nice 8 this morning. He was gut shot yesterday afternoon. Drone found him bedded up. The hunter jumped him this morning when they went to get him. We dropped Gibby on him and got him bayed up. Amazing how tough deer are.

Got a call to help out another deer recovery service this afternoon. He had located the deer and we knew it was a leg shot. We dropped Gibby at the hit sight and let him work it out. He found him and took him for a very long run before the deer finally decided to try and hide in a pond. It was pretty cool to have eyes in the sky watching Gibby work it out.

Gibby snuck one in on today's lunch break. It's been a lot slower than I expected lately. Doe was hit good with a .243...

Gibby had another runner tonight. Wasn't too far of a track and he got the breaks put on him pretty quick.
