We would like to thank Young Gun Construction for purchasing Jacob's 4-H market rabbit.
Today was bitter sweet, watching Jacob sell his last 4H market project. He has gained so much knowledge and confidence through 4H. If you are thinking about joining a club please do. So few youth organizations do what 4H does. Reach out to your county extension office today (or after fair...lol) and find a club that fits you. There's so many project areas, so many activities and camps. There will be something for every kid i promise!

What a week....
Today we got home from the NDSF, Jacob Green showed for the last time as a 4Her and FFA member. He earned grand advanced showman, grand and reserve senior mini lop doe, grand champion mini lop doe, reserve senior mini lop buck.
We saw lots of friends, gave a few younger 4H members some quality stock to get them started, picked up new rabbits, ate lots of fried foods, and drank gallons of lemonade!
Now its time to put rabbits away, plan the after fair season breedings, and set new goals for our rabbitry as it evolves. But tonight we will just relax and smile with the bitter sweet last state fair glow.

This weekend we had the NDSF ARBA shows Saturday and Sunday. Jacob got 2 best of breeds with SSL CashMoney, as well as 6 best opposite of breeds with Tia. And Abby got 3 best of varieties with her blue doe. And one best opposite of breed with Izzy. More photos coming later this week, busy barn and cranky bunnies dont make good photos.

Had a nice day in valley city at the spring show. Jacob received 2 BOBs with Tia and a 2nd running up in show with Tia also. Abby participated in her first showmanship clinic and practiced learning showmanship. She also received 2 BOV with her black buck and a blue doe.
