📢 PSA 📢
As stated, we are not affiliated with these community members that are trapping. We have a strict policy to publicly advertise when and where we will be trapping for several days beforehand. Also both us and Bowman North Dakota Police Department have policies in place that require us to humanely impound any animal that comes into our care for a set amount of days and advertise in hopes of reconnecting that animal with an owner. The traps belonging to both entities also are labeled with appropriately for easy identification.

If community members ever have questions or concerns about strays/feral cats in your area, please reach out and we will help brainstorm a plan forward. If you have questions about our process or past records we are always open to share and love to educate the public on our work! You can find a link to our Google Drive below that contains the templates of all of record keeping procedures, policies, adoption forms, volunteer applications, and more! We've also included a link to the city ordinance that lays out the police department's guidelines regarding trapping, as well as those pertaining to animal rescue.

As we all know, Meowsers has been unable to house new cats due to relocating. If you have the ability to donate to our current project and get us back into the full swing of things, we would greatly appreciate it! As professionally as we can, we believe the motive behind this plan is to try to overburden our local community animal entities in a sad attempt to "prove a point". We can't help but think about all the good and efficient work that could be done if these people with all this time and resources would work with us rather than against us. Please remember that the safest place for your kitty is inside.

📣 Fundraising “Garage Sale”!!
Donations left over from past rummage sale fundraiser. Everything is “Free-Will Donation”. You can send a donation by any method on our flyer or there is a vase on the ground by the garage door/doorbell. 💸

Lots of home goods, clothing, shoes, holiday decor, and more! The deck has lots of car seats/booster seats, a stroller, and a infant bike seat. Everything has been in storage so just needs a good wash. Please don’t take the tote and remain at the front of the property. Anything left by next week will be donated or tossed. 🍽️👚👞🎄🎃

All donations will go towards funding our new shelter building which will be located at the front of this property right by the approach. Swing by and pick out some goodies, leave a donation, and see where our new facility will be located! 🧱🗝️

🐾 $5 Friday – Help Open the Doors! 🐾
BIG news: all of our permits and applications have officially been approved! That means we’re one step away from opening the doors to our brand-new rescue facility. 🏠🐱

Now we need our community to help us cross the finish line.

💛 Our goal: $15,000

These funds will help us purchase and finish this facility with everything the cats will need — kennels, litter stations, medical supplies, food storage, cleaning equipment, and the many little things that turn an empty building into a safe rescue space.

We have secured $5,000 so far from the 2025 Bowman County Play It Forward grant!

🚨 Community PSA: Important Notice About Cat Trapping in Bowman, ND 🚨 💸 $5 Friday 💸
We want to make our community aware that several locations within Bowman city limits are currently setting live traps with the intent to euthanize any cats—whether stray or owned—that become trapped.

If you are aware of these situations, please report this to the police as this is not legal to trap and euthanize an animal because it is on your property within city limits.

If you have a problem with animals running at large or becoming a nuisance, you can also report this so it can be handled appropriately.

💔 We understand how upsetting this is for pet owners and animal lovers, and we encourage everyone to take steps to protect your cats.

🏠 Keep your pets indoors whenever possible — this is the only way to ensure their safety.

📋 Register your pets with the City of Bowman and make sure they are up to date on licenses and vaccinations.

💸 Donate to help us get our new facility up and running and for our continued TNR efforts!
