We had such a great time with the Jail N’ Bail!! Thank you so much for participating in the fun, and extra special thank you to Collin Dunn for arresting these criminals (some put up a good fight!)!

We were able to raise $900 for the new shelter materials! This will help us to get up and running again sooner!

🐾 $5 Friday - Help Open the Doors! 🐾
BIG news: all of our permits and applications have officially been approved! That means we’re one step away from opening the doors to our brand-new rescue facility. 🏠🐱

Now we need our community to help us cross the finish line.

💛 Our goal: $15,000
These funds will help us purchase and finish this facility with everything the cats will need — kennels, litter stations, medical supplies, food storage, cleaning equipment, and the many little things that turn an empty building into a safe rescue space.

We have secured $5,000 so far from the 2025 Bowman County Play It Forward grant!

Ghost (lighter grey less white, male) and Pepper (grey striped with more white, male) are brothers that came to us in September 2025 and have been in foster care since the shelter is transitioning locations. They are brothers that would be better as barn kitties as they are more spicy (hence their names) Pepper has come around more than Ghost and will tolerate some calm quiet pets but Ghost prefers his bubble of space, and will gladly watch from a distance and pretend he truly is a ghost that you can’t see. Estimated to be around a year old, they are fixed and vaccinated and ready to chase any pesky mice you don’t want around the farm! Send us a message if you’re interested!

Miso (grey and white male) and Mushu (black and white male) have been in foster care since we have been in the transition of moving shelters. We have had them since June 2024! They are estimated to be a little over 2 years old and still looking for their forever home! They are brothers and would be amazing if they could go together 🩵. They are very sweet and love to hang out with you when you’re boppin around the house. Miso gets startled easy and will give a quick hiss but he hasn’t shown any aggression, just a little panic when something is loud or large and suspicious. They both do great around other cats, dogs, and kids. They are already fixed and vaccinated, so if you want to come meet them and give a little cuddle send us a message and we can arrange for an introduction!

As stated, we are not affiliated with these community members that are trapping. We have a strict policy to publicly advertise when and where we will be trapping for several days beforehand. Also both us and Bowman North Dakota Police Department have policies in place that require us to humanely impound any animal that comes into our care for a set amount of days and advertise in hopes of reconnecting that animal with an owner. The traps belonging to both entities also are labeled with appropriately for easy identification.

If community members ever have questions or concerns about strays/feral cats in your area, please reach out and we will help brainstorm a plan forward. If you have questions about our process or past records we are always open to share and love to educate the public on our work! You can find a link to our Google Drive below that contains the templates of all of record keeping procedures, policies, adoption forms, volunteer applications, and more! We've also included a link to the city ordinance that lays out the police department's guidelines regarding trapping, as well as those pertaining to animal rescue.

As we all know, Meowsers has been unable to house new cats due to relocating. If you have the ability to donate to our current project and get us back into the full swing of things, we would greatly appreciate it! As professionally as we can, we believe the motive behind this plan is to try to overburden our local community animal entities in a sad attempt to "prove a point". We can't help but think about all the good and efficient work that could be done if these people with all this time and resources would work with us rather than against us. Please remember that the safest place for your kitty is inside.
