🔥 TOO HOT TO TROT — SUMMER SAFETY ALERT 🐾

If the air feels warm, the pavement might be scorching. At just 87°F outside, asphalt can reach a paw-burning 143°F — that’s hot enough to cause blistering in less than 60 seconds.

Use the 7-second rule:
👉 Press the back of your hand to the ground for 7 seconds.
👉 If it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for your dog.

Our training programs include real-world exposure and surface neutrality to help dogs learn how to walk safely and confidently — but it’s up to us to protect their paws during the hottest months.

Moose is a serious power chewer — most squeaky toys don’t last five minutes. I randomly came across the Bark Mango Toy at Tractor Supply Co., and it’s been a game-changer. It’s also available through BarkBox and is specifically designed for tough chewers.

We’re averaging about three months with this toy (which is basically a miracle in our house). If your pup loves squeaky toys but destroys them instantly, I highly recommend giving this one a try.
