We haven’t posted any updates on our main female since all the pups left. She has been hard at work getting some finish training in Iowa while we get “Freya” ready for bird season this year. A special thanks to Judi Parcell for taking great care of her and getting her back into shape after having pups.

Great weather for an afternoon training session! “Freya” is now 13 weeks old and progressing nicely. Working on collar conditioned recall (vibrate only), retrieving, gun fire conditioning, and hunting dead this afternoon. I’d say she is catching on pretty quick. I haven’t posted many pics of her yet. We were still trying to recover from raising 14 puppies😂. More frequent training pics to come.

Middle Fork Wirehairs pups sticking points on pigeons in the yard this afternoon. Last pup leaves this Sunday. Stay tuned for training updates on the female we are keeping. She is in the purple collar. She originally stuck a point on these birds 20ft out, but I wasn’t quick enough with the camera to catch it.

Update!!! All puppies have been adopted to their forever homes. Thanks to each and every family that trusted us with your new hunting partners. I would also like to thank everyone who helped spread the word about this litter of awesome pups. I will continue to post pictures on the page of this litter as they grow and turn into bird hunting machines. Stay tuned……

Pupdate!!! Only two puppies left!! I originally thought of keeping two puppies for myself, but two pups at once is too much to train at once😂. Sooo “Ida” is back available. She is an excellent female and will make an excellent bird dog with plenty of gas for the field. “Delta” is also still available. She will do best in a weekend hunting/pet home. Delta has a reduced adoption fee. Both females are AKC registered, wormed at 2,4,6,and 8wks. Dew claws removed. Health checked. Have had first and second round of vaccinations. Puppies are 9wks old. Contact us today to discuss adoption.

It’s been a busy week. Puppies going to their new homes this past week. We have puppies in Kentucky, Ohio, Iowa, Michigan, and Missouri. We didn’t get go home pictures of everyone. We would like to thank everyone for trusting us with your new hunting partners! We are already receiving great feedback on this litter.
