The things I do to get our animals to trust me. 🙄😂

Sitting in the brooder (whoooboy, time to clean it out) with my morning coffee so they get used to me.

Do you have to do this? Not at all. But I know the difference it makes for a flock when the geese and roosters trust me. (Also, the difference it makes for my shins.)

Bonus: got my Spanish and Japanese lessons in for the day, too.

Time to put some Pink Oyster mushroom spawn outside in the dead fall pile.

I didn't want to risk putting these out while it was so dry, but now that the summer rains (and hurricanes...) are back, I'm less worried they'll die before getting settled in.

I'm currently using the Cucumber Garden soap right now, and have Lemon Drop waiting in the wings. Previously I've got the Thirst Trap and Andromeda soaps as gifts. They have converted me to a bar soap user once again because they lather up great, leave my skin feeling clean (no residues!) and smell awesome too boot! (Plus Andromeda glows in the dark!). I just wish I went through them faster (they LAST!) so I could order more. :)
