Absolutely smitten! Halloween Show spam incoming....

Seriously so incredibly impressed with the turnout of this show! Everyone had a blast, the costumes were to die for, and the sun was shining.

This show could not have happened without our beautiful heaven of a property we get to call home, and our even better barn family. Grateful does not even cover what I feel.

As always, an extra special thank you to Natalie for photographing the entire day. You are a rock solid supporter, and your time spent with us does not go unseen!

One small adjustment has been made on the schedule to account for all riders. We’re excited to be hosting our 1st Halloween Show!

Please reach out asap if you have any questions/concerns! We’re going to do our best to stay on time tomorrow, but the end goal is simple to have fun anyway.

Also, it’s not too early to start thinking about Christmas! Our 3rd annual Affinity Equestrian holiday show will be held again this December. Start getting festive!

Our Fantastic Mr. Finn has stepped up to the show ring with Imogen this year! He doesn’t quite have a need for speed, but was perfectly happy to prance around the cross-rails😎.

Good boy Finn, and a fantastic ride from Imogen!

School has kicked up, so our in-house crew is looking for some extra attention in Bow, WA!

In-barn lease availability for quarter and half leases starting at $350/mo. Our leases include all routine care and tack in one!

All three horses are beginner friendly! Lessons at least 1x/week are required on all horses.

We are a jumper barn focused most on having fun. Trail rides, clinics, shows, you name it! Large age range of riders starting at 8yo, accepting riders as young as 5yo. We also have space on our Pony Club team, Skagit Valley Pony Club.

Finnegan:
Small pony galore! Best for small riders learning the basics. Some show experience at ground polls/x-rails. Also great for lead line learners and trail putz-arounds!

Frankie:
The tank himself! Frankie is a bit of a celebrity around here with his calm demeanor and solid corgi-like body. He has been a fan favorite at all shows in the ground pole/x-rail level. Also a happy hacker/trail superstar!

Frito:
Known as the princess around here, Frito is also a solid gal! Frito prefers to be a teacher to a kid who feels like her own. A bit of a lazier kick ride. Enjoys a nice ride out! Also shows at 18in and below.

Want to date our crew? Book a lesson now! Olivia (360) 810-0119

Skagit Valley Pony Club🐴

Our September unmounted meeting consisted of an intro to jumps day! Some highlights:

⭐️The lovely Anne and her pony, Bliss, were a beautiful model for the kids to practice counting strides with a visual of how a line rides. They counted up to 16 strides between two jumps at one point!

⭐️Our 11 participants split into five teams to name various jump key-terms. Some of these included a crossrail, vertical, oxer, and a winged standard. All groups completed their naming game with 100% success!

⭐️We then practiced counting strides by foot. This was great to do after Anne gave us a visual, so the kids had a better idea of what our steps really meant.

⭐️To end the night, they all practiced jumping over our SVPC plank on foot. Eva jumped the highest at about 2’6! The littles played limbo! Shoes and socks came off… legs were scrapped…

This is such a great group of kids! And yes, I say that in nearly every post!

WOWZA!

Temple View “Goose” went to his first show today and when I say rocked it, I mean he ROCKED it 🎉

He participated in W/T English Pleasure, W/T Dressage Suitability, W/T English Eq, and W/T/C English Eq and placed 2nd with Reserve Champion in all four classes.

It’s an absolute honor to be transforming this boy🥹

An extra huge thank you to Jessica R for entrusting me with his training!
