Dear clients,
I want to write you this letter to thank you for your continued support for my business and also to share a few changes happening here at Zukie’s Garage.
First, I want to address that my assistant of almost 10 years, Kristynn is moving on to bigger and brighter things. Kristynn has been a crucial part of not only running my business, but also in helping me raise my family. She is going to be dearly missed by not only me, but my boys and all of the dogs she has grown to love, who love her equally as much. I hope you will join me in thanking her for everything she has done and wishing her nothing but success in her next adventure.
This year I will be turning 40, which means I have been grooming for over 19 years! This is quite the feat as grooming isn’t a career many stay in long term because of the physical demand it has on your body. To ensure I can continue doing what I love for many years to come, I will be taking some much needed time to work on my health and spend time with my family. Appointment spots will now be much more limited so we encourage you to prebook your appointments to secure your preferred date and time. I would also like to remind everyone of our policies. Cancellation and rescheduling of an appointment, by the client, requires 24 hours notice to waive the $20 missed appointment fee PER PET. This will be applied if it is over 15 minutes late. A $5 fee will be added on any appointment more than 10 minutes late.
I love being able to provide private, all inclusive appointments for your pups and will continue to do so. Starting August 1st there will be an adjustment to my grooming prices. This change reflects the rising costs of running my salon, including premium products, grooming supplies and general living expenses. This helps me to continue to give your pet the best care and attention. Pricing is dependent on desired haircut, weight, coat condition, pets age, matting and temperament towards grooming. Senior dogs over 10 years old will automatically accrue a fee due to the time, care and handling required. Simplifying your dog's haircut can help to reduce overall cost. I want to take this moment to thank you for your continued support and trust in me to care for your beloved pets. It means the world to me to be part of your pet’s care routine and I never take that responsibility lightly. Your support to my small business means a roof over our head, food on our table and a chance for my children and I to create lasting memories together.
