When an elephant 🐘 needs to be transported by plane – say from India to the United States – they put in a cage with it… chicks! 🐥
Yes, tiny, adorable chicks! 😮💛
Why?
Because, despite its enormous size, elephants are very afraid of hurting small creatures. They don’t dare move during the flight ✈️, for fear of crushing the chicks. And that’s what keeps the plane balanced.
This is the first evidence of the nobility of the elephant’s soul 🐘❤️.
🧠 Scientists, fascinated by elephant behavior, have studied and analyzed their brains.
They discovered that elephant brains contain an extremely rare type of nerve cell – called spindle cells 🔬.
These are the same cells that are found in humans, and they are responsible for self-awareness, empathy, and social awareness 🤝💭.
In other words… elephants are not only big in body, but also great in emotions 💫 and dignity 🌿.
🎨 Leonardo da Vinci – the genius who loved animals – once said about elephants:
“The elephant has integrity, wisdom, and moderation in its nature.” 🧑🎨📝
He also described them very beautifully:
– When going down to the river to bathe, the elephant walks with dignity, as if purifying itself of all evil 🚿🌊.
– If it sees a person lost, it will gently guide them back to the right path 👣🧭.
– Elephants always move in herds, in an orderly manner, led by a leader 👑🐘.
– Elephants live a secretive life… only mating at night, in private places, then bathing before returning to the herd 💕🌌.
– If they encounter other animals on the way, the elephant will use its trunk to gently push them aside to avoid causing injury 🥺💗.
♥️ And the most touching thing…
When it knows it is about to die, the elephant quietly leaves the herd, goes alone to a far away place to die…
Why?
Because it doesn’t want anyone – especially the young ones – to see it die and carry that sadness in its heart. 😢🌿
What a creature with dignity, compassion, and nobility…
Qualities that sometimes… even humans don’t have. 💔🕊️
