PET FOOD ALERT: Following up on a case of H5N1 Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza in a cat, testing performed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, state and local public health and agriculture partners, and federal partners suggests a link between the strain of H5N1 virus detected in the cat and in certain lots of RAWR Raw Cat Food Chicken Eats, a product the cat consumed before falling ill.

😀 We are so happy to share that Mimi will be returning to work with us soon. She has been through an incredibly difficult time, and while she is eager to get back to helping our patients and clients, she is still in a very fragile place as she continues to process everything that has happened.

🙏 We kindly ask that when you see Mimi, you welcome her back with warmth, but please refrain from asking questions or discussing the recent fire or her pets. This is still very fresh and painful for her, and we want to create the safest, most supportive environment possible as she returns.

🫶 When Mimi is ready to speak about her experience, we will let her do that at her own pace and in her own way.

🥰 Thank you for your compassion, understanding, and respect for her privacy.
