Hi Houghes Family, it’s been just over a week since we took home our new baby girl and wanted to send an update. We named her Penny and she is just the sweetest puppy! We haven’t come up with her full AKC name yet but it will have something to do with Penny Lane from the Beatles. She is very smart and already knows to go to the rear door if she needs to go out. We put down a pad incase we don’t get to her in time but otherwise she’s doing a great job with potty training. Sleeping has been a bit more difficult. She hated the crate at first but she’s finally getting used to it and last night was the longest stretch yet. She slept from Midnight to 5:00 am, so this is now coming along as well. Our older dog Poppy is doing really well with her, sometimes she needs reminders to be gentle but otherwise they get along great! She is spoiled by all of us and she’s loving the attention. Thank you for everything, she is our joy! I hope you enjoy the pics!
