🐄 🐐 Happy National Farm Animals Day! 🐑🐔

Today, we celebrate the hardworking and lovable animals that make our farms (both big or backyard!) thrive! From the fluffy sheep and alpacas to the clucking chickens and goofy goats, these animals bring so much joy, warmth, and nourishment to our lives. 💚

Let’s take a moment to appreciate their roles in our daily lives and remember to treat them with kindness and respect. 🐮🐷

This beautiful snowy day caused a power outage at Twin Pines and that means our phones are out! We can check voice and email messages and can do only do scheduled tech and exam appointments until we have power restored. Stay safe!! ❄️⛄️❄️⛄️🌲🌲

It was a beautiful but cold day out on farm calls yesterday! These piggies were enjoying some sun after their exams 🐽 ☀️

Speaking of the cold, did you see that snow is in the forecast? Make sure to keep offering your farm animals fresh and warm water so they stay hydrated through this cold spell. (Especially those male goats!)

Happy Holidays from all of us at Twin Pines. We hope everyone is able to spend some quality time with their friends and family in the next couple of weeks. A reminder that we are closed 12/21-12/26 returning to the office on 12/27! If you have any medications to come pick you up please make sure to do so today!

Happy Veterinary Technician Week to our new technician, Shyanne!! We are so excited to welcome her to our team. Shyanne started with us as an extern and we were so impressed with her wonderful self that we asked her to stay on as a staff member. Thank you for all your hard work, Shyanne!!

Today we would like to highlight our technician Darian! Darian has been with us since the beginning. We are so grateful for her hard work and dedication to our patients. From running anesthesia during surgical procedures to wrangling goats out on the farm, she can do it all! Happy Veterinary Technician Appreciation week, Darian!!

Happy Vet Tech week to the wonderful technicians here at Twin Pines Animal Hospital. To show our gratitude to their excellent work and dedication we are going to be closed this Friday 10/18 to allow our staff an extra long weekend to relax and cuddle their own pets 🐾 ❤️

If you need medications refilled this week, please make sure to let us know before Thursday so we can get them taken care of before we are closed.

We will be closed Thursday 6/20 (starting at 12:30pm) - Tuesday 6/25 returning to the office Wednesday 6/26 to attend the AMVA Conference. Our reception team will be checking email and voicemails both Friday 6/21 and Tuesday 6/25.

World Veterinary Day is celebrated annually on the last Saturday in April to recognize and appreciate the important work that veterinarians do to protect the health and well-being of animals around the world. This year, in particular, we want to highlight the essential role that veterinarians play as health care workers in our society.

Veterinarians are not just animal doctors – they are also public health experts, researchers, educators, and advocates for animal welfare. They work tirelessly to prevent and treat diseases in animals, which in turn helps to protect human health by reducing the spread of zoonotic diseases.
