It was great seeing Teddy show off his skills during his 1:1 check-in with Dad!

Throughout Teddy’s training journey, Mom has been the primary handler—attending lessons, group classes, and consistently reinforcing his training at home. As a result, Teddy got a little selective when it came to listening to Dad. 😅

The best part? In just one session, Teddy quickly learned that Dad’s voice, expectations, and follow-through matter too. Consistency from everyone in the household is what creates lasting results.

If you’ve been following Teddy’s journey, you know how far he’s come. He’s transformed into an “everywhere dog” with improved confidence, better manners, and reliable on- and off-leash obedience.

When properly conditioned and used as a communication tool, the e-collar provides clarity, freedom, and reliability—not just for the dog, but for the owner as well. Once conditioning is complete, it simply becomes a safety net—an invisible leash that helps maintain everything your dog has learned.

Officially welcoming Josie + Winston to RRK9 Training 🐾
Josie is our primary focus right now as we work through reactivity, on/off leash skills, and excessive barking in the home. The best part? She truly is the sweetest girl and actually loves other dogs — she just struggles a bit with overstimulation and communication while on leash.
One thing we see all the time… when one dog in the home starts training, the others usually end up joining in too 👀 Dogs naturally feed off each other’s energy and behaviors, so it’s important to address the household as a whole.
That’s been exactly the case with Winston. He’s been tagging along through most sessions, and moving forward we’ll begin ecollar conditioning and working through some of his own on leash behaviors as well.
At , every program is curated specifically to the dog and owner in front of us. No cookie cutter approach — just realistic goals, honest communication, and training tailored to what each client truly needs.

Jynx!

She is a true testament to the saying “work the dog in front of you” while advocating for them appropriately. Dog training is not “one size” fits all and it’s important to “build” your tool box and with a young pup with Jynx’s temperament and taking into account her breed characteristics this statement could be more true.

I love getting to help this pup socialize, build her confidence, neutrality, while also filling her biological needs— little by little she realizing the world isn’t a big scary place and we build rapport.

She is the sweetest pup, who beyond smart, and has been good big sister to her younger pup Hexley!
