Meet Hattie, lovingly nicknamed Patty. She is a gentle and patient senior girl who has been quietly waiting her turn for far too long. She came to rescue after spending years confined to a small, filthy cage alongside her daughter and many other neglected dogs, and yet despite all of that, she has remained one of the kindest, most loving souls. Now around ten years old, she is savoring the simple things she was denied for so long, a soft bed, good food, and the freedom to finally stretch her legs and experience the world. She has been in rescue for over a year and continues to be overlooked, likely due to her age.
Hattie's future family can expect a calm, grateful, and deeply loving companion who asks for very little and gives back enormously. She has weathered more than most dogs ever will and has done so with grace and patience that is truly humbling. She simply needs someone willing to look past her age and give her the chance to finally shine.
