Looking back through these behind-the-scenes moments, we’re reminded how much of a project lives in the parts no one ever sees: mock ups & prototypes, late-night troubleshooting, hardware arriving just in time, software bugs, weather delays, site visits, and a lot of problem-solving on the fly.

This project at Lincoln Center brought together so many different people and skill sets. Designers, engineers, fabricators, developers, producers, installers—we spent months figuring out how to turn an idea into something real.

Working outdoors meant constantly adapting to the unexpected. Rain, heat, wind, procurement timelines, shifting schedules—every challenge forced us to rethink and refine the work. Some of the best solutions came from things not going according to plan.

It’s easy to see the finished installation and forget how much collaboration, patience, and care went into every detail. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who helped bring this project to life, and excited to finally share it with the public.
