A hard freeze is moving into the Shreveport–Bossier area, with dangerously cold temperatures expected.

Bring them inside. Prolonged exposure to freezing temperatures can cause hypothermia, frostbite, and death — even for animals with thick fur.

⚠️ If You Can’t Bring Pets Indoors:

• Provide warm, dry shelter off the ground
• Use blankets or straw (NOT towels)
• Ensure unfrozen water is available
• Block wind and moisture
