All animals featured on this page are strays. Each animal will be held at the Bossier City Animal Services Center (Bossier City Animal Control) until they complete stray hold. Stray hold is 72 hours, exclusive of weekends and legal holidays. After the stray hold is complete, the animal will become available for adoption or rescue. All rescues must have proof of valid 501c3.
Unaltered animals will be spayed/neutered by BCAC once an adoption has been confirmed. Rescues are responsible for altering animals in their possession.
Heartworm positive animals are available for adoption after completing stray hold, but there must be a treatment plan already in place with your veterinarian before the adoption will be finalized.
BCAC is open for adoptions Monday through Friday from 10:00am until 3:30pm. To see all animals currently available for adoption at BCAC, please visit Buddies of Bossier City Animal Services on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/buddiesofbcas
