Welcome to BUDDIES of Bossier City Animal Control. The BUDDIES page is run strictly BY VOLUNTEERS to help network the animals of Bossier City Animal Control (BCAC) in Bossier City, Louisiana. Our goal is to help save lives through networking and help provide space for the shelter to aid more animals in nee

d. Weekly, we will post BUDDIES OF THE WEEK (dogs and cats) NEEDING RESCUE AND/OR ADOPTION. As volunteers, we have no legal authority in the outcome of the animals. We are volunteers doing the best we can, but we cannot do it alone! This is a community problem and requires a community to help solve it. We would appreciate anyone that can help us network the posted BUDDIES in need.

Stefan came to the shelter as a puppy in 2024, with his sibling Manny. Manny got adopted and so did Stefan... but Stefan was returned in February 2025 and has been at the shelter ever since.

You can see the difference from his first video to the most recent video. He was once a happy youngster. He's now defeated as he watches visitors pass him by every day.

It's time for Stefan to find a home... it's way past due! PLEASE come and meet him... FOSTER HIM... no strings attached! Just give him a chance. Be his hero.
