Meet AJ – The Sweetest, Bougiest Doodle Girl Around!
✨ 2.5 years old | Labradoodle/Goldendoodle Mix | Spayed & Fully Vaccinated ✨

AJ is a beautiful, playful, and affectionate young doodle girl looking for her second chance at forever love. At just 2 ½ years old, she’s the perfect mix of fun-loving energy and snuggly sweetness. Her soft, curly coat and soulful eyes will steal your heart the moment you meet her.

AJ came to us under heartbreaking circumstances—her beloved owner suffered an accident and had to move into a nursing home, leaving AJ scared and confused. She’s currently adjusting to shelter life, but it’s clear she misses her momma deeply and longs to be part of a loving home again.

What AJ Loves:

Running and playing in open spaces

Lounging like a queen on a big couch or cozy bed

Making friends with other dogs (and even most cats!)

Being around adults and respectful teenage kids

Being pampered—AJ is a little bougie and proudly so!

AJ would thrive in a home with a yard to run in and a family who will shower her with attention, patience, and affection. She’s already spayed, up to date on all her vaccines, and ready to start her next chapter.

Meet Honey, a beautiful and sweet female pitty mix who was found wandering on the way home from work by Alexis Davis. Honey is a total sweetheart — she’s great with other dogs, loves cats, and is wonderful with children.

Unfortunately, Alexis’s own dog doesn’t get along with others, so she’s looking for someone kind and caring to foster Honey until she can find her forever home.

❤️❤️Njiine has been adopted and found a perfect home❤️❤️Njiine (Nine) is a brave, playful, and very loyal puppy who is incredibly affectionate and athletic. He is a funny, curious, and independent dog who loves to explore and protect those he loves. Njiine is very smart and is a quick learner. He is very well-behaved, loves going on rides, and is already house-trained. He can be a little shy at first, but he warms up to people quickly and attaches to his favorite humans. Njiine would do best in a home without cats, and it is unknown if he gets along with other dogs. His previous owner loved him very much, but they were going through tough times and needed to ensure Njiine received the best care. If you think Njiine would be a great addition to your family, please come meet him!

❤️❤️ Tuffy has found his living forever home❤️❤️

Tuffy's Journey: A Tale of Resilience and Hope

Tuffy’s story begins not in comfort, but by the quiet hum of the railroad tracks along the Missouri River. That’s where rescuers found him — a tiny, one-year-old Chorkie with a heart bigger than his body — hiding in the brush and bravely standing guard over his sister. He was scared, hungry, and unsure of the world around him, but even then, he refused to leave her side. It was clear: Tuffy may have been small, but his spirit was mighty.

The two were brought to Boonville Animal Control Shelter, where safety and warmth replaced the noise and fear of the riverbanks. Tuffy was cautious at first, unsure how to accept care. But with gentle hands, soft voices, and the promise of food and love, he began to open up. Shelter staff quickly saw the sparkle in his eyes and the goofy, affectionate soul hidden beneath his scruffy fur.

Tuffy is full of personality. He definitely has what we lovingly call “little dog syndrome”—he’ll puff up and bark at bigger dogs like he’s ten feet tall. But behind the bravado is a boy who just wants to play, be held, and know he’s finally safe.

After some time at the shelter, Tuffy was adopted by a family who fell for his charm. For a while, he had a warm home and soft laps to curl up in. But sometimes, life takes unexpected turns, and Tuffy was brought back through no fault of his own. It was confusing and sad, but the shelter welcomed him back with open arms and gentle reassurances. Once again, his tail began to wag.

Now, Tuffy is waiting — not just for another home, but for the right one. One that understands small dogs with big personalities, one with the patience to earn his trust, and the heart to return the unconditional love he gives so freely.

Tuffy is sweet, smart, and ready for his forever. He’s playful, loyal, and still believes that somewhere out there is a person or family meant just for him.
