Today marked the first hunt for SOK East's Rudder (Ford x Bess). Rudder demonstrated his skills by retrieving through dense brush and is now officially recognized with his first retrieves on the board! His performance suggests a promising future.

We had a slow go of it in Kansas. The boys were on the ready and we did get a few good retrieves in the Arkansas River. But, timing is everything with birds and we missed the window.

Maine is in the books. What an adventure! I won't bore you with how cold it was, but part of me has yet to descend to it normal location lol.

Cooper has been in Country less than year and we have already hunted Swans In NC, Barbellys in Arkansas, Huge Canadas and fat Mallards in Kansas, assorted puddle ducks in Louisiana and now Sea Ducks in Maine. My buddy Aaron Doran from SoCal tagged along to make this trip even more special . Looking forward to Kansas next month.
