Maddie was a boss babe with her little girl, Kennedy, in tow today.
Family is a HUGE part of who we are and we are proud to provide that balance to our team members. We can be mothers, wives, sisters, friends, daughters....AND amazing animal care providers! We work very hard to show the same kind of compassion and care for our clients and patients as we do our own families. 💙🐾

Remember when Dr. Hannah worked up a health certificate to send "Hela" to the Netherlands?? Look what came of that trip! 😍
We were excited to see them for their 7 week check ups before moving on to their new homes, all over the world! Puppies from this litter will be competitive sport dogs on the East Coast, West Coast, Chicago, Canada, and South Africa! We loved getting to know Hela's family and are a bit sad the pups won't be staying around here. But what an honor to be a part of something much bigger than us! 🐾🥰

Dr. Hannah and her husband, Bobby, got cleaned up to attend the Rocky Creek Youth Ranch Galloping Towards Change Gala this past weekend. Rocky Creek and T-K Ranch are moving mountains for youth in need and Orchard Hills Vet Clinic is honored to be a part of that journey! Thank you for inviting us to join in an evening of fun.

We were honored to purchase several animals at the St. Francois County 4-H Sale of Champions last week! These kids work very hard to care for their animals and raise quality meat products. We loved seeing so many of our clients and their animals succeed at the sale!

Update: 𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃!

Effective Immediately, July 27, 2026, we will 𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙮 not be accepting new clients. Please keep reading!

Our first and foremost goal is to provide the absolute best care we possibly can to our clients and patients. We are a single doctor practice - there is only one of me. We are blessed with an incredible team of two front office staff and five technicians that work tirelessly under immense pressure, pushing themselves to see 30 to 40 patients a day. We simply cannot do any more.

Making the decision to temporarily pause in accepting new clients has been a heavy one, but it is a physical necessity for our team. If we continue to try to “squeeze in” every animal in our area, we would jeopardize the well being of our already scheduled clients, patients, and ourselves. We want to be everything to everyone, but we can’t do that and still provide the quality of care that we have always made a priority. We have to draw a hard line to protect the care of the patients who already rely on us.

We have always focused on honesty and we hope that you respect and understand this difficult decision. We care deeply about your pets, and we are pushing ourselves to our absolute limits to provide the best care possible. Thank you for understanding the immense pressure all of your local veterinary teams are currently facing.
