Happy Farm Stand prep day to all who celebrate! 🎉
Oh wait...I guess that's just me??? 😁
We have loads of garden goodness getting ready for tomorrow along with some delicious bread and cookies!

From the garden: peppers of all sizes and colors, cauliflower, pie pumpkins, tomatoes, russet potatoes, and lots more! 👩🏼‍🌾

From the bakery: Apple Cider Donut bread (new this week!) joins favorites like Amish cinnamon swirl, pumpkin chocolate chip, English muffin, Farmhouse Artisan and Cinnamon raisin bread. Pecan oatmeal raisin cookies and Mocha Rice Krispies treats are also heading to the stand. 👩🏼‍🍳

We are prepping for rain tomorrow. 🤞🏼The cover and umbrella will be up!! ☔ Join us 10-2 Friday and Saturday! 4320 N Columbine St near Cloverdale and McMillan.

As the garden gradually slips into fall, we are adjusting our times and dates for the rest of the season. 🍂

Starting this coming weekend, October 3, the Farm Stand will be open at 10:00 am rather than 9:00. It is too chilly in the morning for the veggies and we notice fewer people out walking as well. 😉

We plan to be open each weekend until the end of the month, with just one exception: no farm stands the weekend of October 10 & 11.

We should have lots of fall garden crops such as potatoes, onions, garlic, peppers, sweet potatoes, melons, broccoli, cauliflower, winter squash (delicata, acorn and pie pumpkins), sweet corn, arugula, cilantro, zucchini, cucumbers, green beans, golden raspberries, eggplant, hot peppers, beets, romaine lettuce and likely some other things we can't think of right now. 🤣

The bakery is switching gears as well! October will bring back favorites from last year: cranberry orange bread, pecan oatmeal cookies and mocha rice krispies treats. I'm testing some new recipes and hope to bring an apple fritter loaf or apple cider doughnut loaf starting next week. 🤞🏼 (If you've read this far, leave me a 🍎 or a 🍩 below for fun).

As the season winds down, we are updating our farm stand hours to adjust for the cooler weather. The farm stand will be open from 10:00-2:00 until the end of the season.
