• For example, a 50-pound dog usually needs about 25–50 ounces (≈ 3–6 cups) daily.
• In hot weather, after exercise, or if they’re panting a lot, they may need more — sometimes up to double the usual amount.

Tips to help:
✅ Always keep fresh, cool water available (multiple bowls if possible).
✅ Bring water on walks or trips.
✅ Watch for signs of dehydration: dry gums, lethargy, sunken eyes, excessive panting.
