Meet Ducati, a gorgeous 14-month-old male AKC Standard Poodle with a stunning deep red, non-fading coat. He stands 19 inches at the shoulder and weighs about 26 lbs. He has the classic poodle elegance, intelligence, and playful personality that makes the breed so special.
Due to unexpected personal circumstances, Ducati needs a committed forever home by June 10th (this weekend). We’re prioritizing a stable, loving environment over price to keep him out of a shelter. He is already making good progress after just one month with us and will thrive with the right family.
Important Details & Needs:
• He must be neutered (he did not meet expectations for our breeding program).
• Ducati is great with people and does well with most dogs during supervised playtime.
• He has some environmentally induced reactivity from his previous home (not genetic). He needs supervision with other animals in the home for now, but would do best as the only pet or in a home willing to work with a trainer.
• He is highly trainable, food-motivated, and loves to please his people. With 2–3 months of consistent structure, exercise, and positive training, he has incredible potential to become an outstanding companion.
• Happy to provide a trainer recommendation.
Ducati is a smart, active boy full of personality who would make a wonderful adventure partner. He enjoys hikes in the mountains, lake trips, and one-on-one attention. He’s loyal, affectionate, and thrives in a home that can give him daily exercise, mental stimulation, and clear leadership. Perfect for an active individual, couple, or family experienced with intelligent breeds.
Price: Majorly reduced to $300 OBO (originally $1,000). Serious inquiries and reasonable offers welcome — we just want him in a good home. If he stays local, you’re welcome to keep the neuter appointment I have scheduled for the 11th. That was the soonest available.
Located in Boise, ID. Local adopters preferred, but we can discuss transport options for the right fit.
