Lil' Baby Black Puff - Found in the street being gnawed on by a feral cat and brought to our Sanctuary. It was weak and had one eye still shut. Appears to be about one month old and right out of the rabbit hole. After she opens the rabbit hole for them, the mother rabbit typically abandons the baby kits and they are on their own. Before that she will uncover the hole every 24 hours to feed them and she covers it back up carefully, hiding any signs of it. ~So after some rest, alfalfa hay, water and love from Archie the one-eyed chihuahua, Lil' Baby Back Puff is on the road to a fine life at the Happy Rabbit Sanctuary. He eats about a bale of hay every two days so please donate today! 😉 Make sure you watch out for the Bench Bunnies in the street. 🥰🐰

There was a big bunny named old Mr. Grey. Whose favorite habit was rustling hay. You’d toss him a bunch. He’d smile with a hunch. And with fury he’d kick dust your way. ❤️ ~Rest in peace, Mr. Grey. We had provided him a nice “forever” home; a nice free roam pen in the shade. He was very old when we received him. He was with us for almost four years. 🌺

Good times at the Happy Rabbit Sanctuary. 🥰 Spring has come and the grounds can be cleaned much easier. Plenty of shade, dry ground, warm spots, fresh grass hay, and deluxe pellets are always found here. Space to kick, play, buck and run too! We are a last chance home to many of our community's rabbits. We have a few babies born here this year, but most are adoptions. We appreciate your donations. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit charity.

We have one rabbit we are struggling to keep as easily as the rest. He climbs straight up the 3-4’ chicken wire fences that we use for our free roam enclosures. We would rather not hutch him or any of our rabbits. This one is an exception. He was born here and didn’t come to us for sanctuary; else we’d not ask. He’s a second season buck. Feisty, small, and friendly. 🥰 >> Instant message us if you think you could care for him. ♥️ we’ll be very particular and grateful too; we love him
