Please consider donating today. We are working on a purchase of hay for the next three seasons; hopefully about 20 bales from a local Meridian farmer. We accept credit, debit, venmo and paypal.

We have 100% transparency. All donations are spent on food for the rabbits. We buy bales of hay, purchased from local farmers or D&B Supply on Overland in Boise, Idaho. We found a great deal on fresh grass hay from a farmer in Meridian. It's only $7.50 a bale and they're twice as large and heavy as the $18 bales at D&B. We bought six bales for $45. I'd like to get more if someone would care to purchase (donate) more for the sanctuary. Little babies just came out of their hole today for the first time. The opening is no larger than a golf ball. Watch this little black rabbit shoot back inside the hole at the first sign of danger. It's so cute. Mom will feed it once a day for a few more days and then it's on its own. We provide low height water trays and alfalfa hay for the kits.

Welcome to the Sanctuary, Cheese!! He's a silky; domesticated and tame so he gets his own pen so he doesn't get roughed up by the big bucks next door. He's beautiful and unfortunately his owner had to leave him behind--so Cheese found his forever home at the Happy Rabbit Sanctuary; fresh hay, pellets, sunshine in the morning and the moon and stars at night. Life will be good for Cheese. We love him and he is welcome. Please consider donating to help support Cheese. 🥰
