One thing I always tell my clients is that training isn’t something you do for a few weeks and then check off your list.
Consistency is what turns training into everyday behavior.
Ollie knows his commands, but that doesn’t mean we stop practicing them. Just like us, dogs benefit from repetition, reinforcement and clear communication throughout their lives.
Whether I’m working with one of my own dogs or a client dog, I want the same thing: a dog who understands what I’m asking, can make good choices, and knows how to be a well-mannered member of the family. 🤍
Training doesn’t have to be hours of drills every day, either. A few minutes here and there during your normal routine can make a huge difference.
