Its been a hard year for English lops this year.. we have suffered losses more than we typically do.. even with our amazing save of b***ks babies we still are plagued with losses.. b***k is now down to 8.. wondrous is down to 3.. freckles lost so many of her litter and wondrous last litter only had one survivor that had to be fostered to freckles.. our chocolate project is gonna have to take a break until fall (our breedings anyway).. as big momma lost yet another full litter. We are going to treat her with some meds and time to see if that helps before we try again... but hopefully our chocolate project will take off as soon as our jrs we have grow up enough to breed 🥰.. of course between showing as we have big plans for them and high hopes 😉 as picture tax ill add a picture of one of b***ks babies 🥰

So today we lost one of our "claimed" babies.. no changes or signs she was any different than any other day.. this break...

So today we lost one of our "claimed" babies.. no changes or signs she was any different than any other day.. this breaks my heart. Not only for the death. But for the family that had such high hopes to receive this "Doll" of a baby.. temperament was exceptional. And she was set up to have an amazing life.. heartbreaking is an understatement 💔. This is why we dont accept deposits. Or payments prior to pick up . Elops are hard. And sometimes they die unexpectedly.. we feel this loss. And mostly feel as if we have failed the family that had such high hopes for this little girl 😭..
