We think the ewes heard that we were in Texas for a family wedding, so they decided to get in cahoots to have while we were gone. We feel beyond lucky right now…the vet said there was two on ultrasound and out popped 3! Now have 5 lambs from FAFO and still have one more ewe to go!

We are so thankful to family and friends yesterday and today are that are keeping an eye on these lambs until we get back!

Baby watch will begin shorty!

✅ Feed is mixed up and ground (the ewes favorite part of lambing)

✅ ewes with the biggest bags have been moved in (just happened to be all of our Lai ewes 🤞)

The cold air is coming in and before long it will be lambing time! We figured we would introduce the sires for this upcoming lamb crop!

Besides the handful of ewes that we did ai with the rest of our herd was bred by these three rams Frank, Willis, and Turbo. We are extremely excited about lambs out of all three of them. Frank has moved on to other ladies, so this is the last crop from him at our place. However, Willis and Turbo are just getting started and both of them will have their first lamb crop this winter/fall!

Middle of fall has us reminiscing on this past year! We are looking forward to fall in love with all the new faces that are coming this winter, and already are privileged to know some of the characters that share their lifetime with us 💕

🎉We have been keeping a secret….but now we can announce what feels like Christmas in September with the news from our first ai! 🎉

At the beginning of July we took 5 lucky ladies to ai with two of Hassebrook ShowLambs studs FAFO, and Riverboat Ron. By ultrasound today we have at least 4 out of 5 ewes that took to the ai. We are super excited to have some different genetics into our herd and maybe some will available this coming year for purchase!

Turbo Taz had a great day today are the Blackface Wether, Sire, Dam show! He won his class and ended up with Reserve Champion Ram. Without a doubt this guy is going to make some nice lambs!

Big news from the Nebraska State Fair DA show and White Face Wether,Sire, Dam show!

We haven’t introduced him fully yet but one of our new rams Willis…aka Wooly Willis made his way into the champion drive both days. Taking home Champion DA Ram one day and Reserve Champion White Face ram the next! Be on the lookout for lambs from him this coming year!
