Just got info re: cleaning your yorkie’s eyes. Cotton ball with warm water. Gently clean corners till brown discharge is loosened.

🎉🐾 Happy National Dog Day and what better way to celebrate than with JOY! 🐾🎉

Meet Joy, our brave and beautiful Jack Russell Terrier mix who came to us from Palm Beach County Animal Care & Control with a fractured left femur. After arriving at Tri-County, she underwent orthopedic surgery right here at the Lois Pope Pet Clinic, where our veterinary team performed a successful open reduction and internal fixation to repair her broken leg using a plate and locking screws.

Thanks to expert care, pain management, and a month of recovery and rehabilitation, Joy is now healed, happy, and officially available for adoption! She's a 1-year-old sweetheart with a heart full of gratitude and a tail that never stops wagging.

This National Dog Day, honor the resilience, loyalty, and love dogs give us every day by choosing to adopt a dog like Joy, a survivor, a snuggler, and a shining example of second chances.
