Welcome back Ira! This kid came earlier this spring for puppy foundations and now he’s back for the next phase of his education. We’ve trained several dogs for his family so later this month his sister will come back so they can learn to work together too. Can’t wait to have some fun!

This past weekend our club, , hosted Kevin Bain for a three day Mondioring seminar. Our dogs had a blast with obedience, jumps and protection work, and the best part was how many new faces we saw that are interested in learning more about the sport.

By popular request we are going to offer an Introduction to Mondioring Workshop on 2/16/25. This will be a full day event that includes a discussion on the background of the sport, the exercises and rules, demonstrations with discussion and working each dog attending through the foundation skills in the program. Lunch will be provided and there will be plenty of opportunity to work the dogs more than once. You will have a take home booklet that outlines the sport and the training foundation we will discuss.

If you have a passion for training with your dog, love the precision of high level obedience and are looking for a new hobby, this will be a great opportunity for you!

In Mondioring there is an opportunity to train and get ready to trial for the obedience exercises, the obedience + jumps exercises, or the full program that includes protection work. You can play in this sport if you have a dog that doesn’t do protection work.
