Merry Christmas to ALL who celebrate. This year we are celebrating the *trapping* of a cat we will always call Daddy-O. This handsome boy is a perfect example of why you must neuter your cats.
In one colony, we believe he was the Daddy to over 40 teens and kittens.
Most of those we saved and found loving homes for but a few were too scared so they were TNR’ed.
Daddy-O and one of his many daughters are living their best life with one of our foster’s daughters.
He has gone from the street to being dressed up as an elf.
What a story of survival & transformation.
Many thanks to Casey Ann who led the charge at The Ginger Colony where so many lives were saved.

We wanted to let all of our previous adopters and supporters know that Petfinder.com added a new update and it is not allowing people to see our cats. We are NOT the only rescue that is affected by this.
We are begging you to please share our post so people can see animals up for adoption. Please explain that this is not a normal plea - they are literally not being seen at all. Also please tag petfinder to let them know that this is NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Giving Tuesday is almost here!

As we approach Giving Tuesday, we want to say thank you to our amazing community — adopters, fosters, volunteers, donors, and kitty-lovers near and far. You are the heart of CTAR, and because of you, thousands of cats have already been given a second chance.

This year, our Giving Tuesday focus is our Community Medicine Chest, which provides:
✔ free medications
✔ vaccines
✔ f***l testing
✔ disease testing (Panleuk, FIV, FeLV)
✔ and now, IDEXX f***l panels
for community cats, low-income families, and independent rescuers doing lifesaving work.

This program has already saved so many lives — and we’re hopeful that with your support, we can help even more.

When we say we will always find a way to get your kitty to you NO MATTER WHAT, we do not say that lightly.
We will literally move heaven and earth to get your kitty home. ❤️‍🔥

Yesterday, two kittens who couldn’t make our previous transport due to illness finally made it home.

💛 Two incredible stories

Franco was saved by one of our amazing partner rescuers, Joana. He is now safe and loved with Taylor and their family.

Laurel was saved with her mama and brothers. She lived with me until she was cleared to travel — and now she is home with her forever dad, Andy.

We will do anything for our adopters and our kitties.

Adopting out the kitties we help is the most rewarding experience. Many people ask isn’t it too hard and the truth is we do this for the animals and the adopters.

We LOVE ADOPTIONS! Lately we have to admit we have been struggling to adopt all of our AMAZING KITTIES.
Two little ones won the kitty lottery and were hand delivered to their new parents. Can’t do this often but when we can it is very special.
Previous adopters please let people know about Changing Tomorrow Animal Rescue & help us adopt more kitties out of South Florida.

We wish we could take every kitty out there. But we continue to learn when we have to say no & delegate. Our beautiful Little Women Litter is with another wonderful foster. We still have the AMAZING Mary Beth who is beating up resident kitty Teddy on a daily basis.
Now, we can spend time and get some peace with our Autumn Litter. Mama Pearl is so sweet & young. She was saved from the *Ginger Colony* by an amazing trapper Casey Ann.
She has 4 little ones but we were only able to get photos of 3 because Whiskey nodded off. Living up to his name. Here is Laurel, Boots, & Autumn.
